Santa Monica FC Online fills the gap between multiplayer online football manager games and the client games that require installation on your device - you play it through your browser and it is up to you how often or how long you are gonna play.
In SMFC Online you don't have to wait for other players - you can play as many matches as you want, whenever you want, without any limits. For each game original set of clubs and players will be procedurally generated for you.
While the game is minimalistic it contains most of the typical options of big online soccer games: running your own club, dealing on transfer list, play in league and cup matches, take care of training, economy, stadium. You can start your team in any of over 180 countries around the world and face the challenging opponents.
Santa Monica FC Online was inspired by the classic Championship Manager games - it is simple, minimalistic, but contains enough data and options to give you the feeling you take part in whole simulated world.
Of course Championship Manager was not the only inspiration for SMFCO, classic German football manager game Anstoss was another - while providing minimal data it had great atmosphere through random events.
You can start each game with different starting parameters settings (there are over 100,000 combinations), which means the game will be different each time you play it. You can also use in-game editor to adapt the clubs and players in your game to your expectations.
We also work on multiplayer online football manager called Football-o-Rama that will be vastly improved version of SMFC Online.
You can play Santa Monica FC Online on any device with access to Internet without installing anything - all you need is a web browser. All the data is stored on the server, so your game will always be up-to-date even when you switch between devices.

Although Santa Monica FC Online is a single player online football manager global ranking puts an element of multiplayer competition among users - after each finished season your record will be saved and compared with other SMFCO users that played with same starting settings (same difficulty level, same starting budget, same starting division).
